| | On April 27th, 2018, the Commission held a transportation workshop which included the potential of a bus rapid transit (BRT) public transportation service in dedicated lanes/ shoulders on the Julia Tuttle. As such, this item is a referral to the Finance and Citywide Projects Committee to gauge demand and resource requirements for the Julia Tuttle BRT Demo. Lastly, this item requests notice to UNITE HERE (hotel union), Miami and the Beaches Hotel Association, the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce, Mount Sinai, as well as a representative for City of Miami Beach employees to attend in order to gain feedback and determine potential demand. |
