APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ACCEPT DONATIONS FROM T-MOBILE USA INC., IN THE
TOTAL AMOUNT OF $5,000, IN SUPPORT OF THE CITY'S
PARK AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT'S 2017 SENIORS'
HOLIDAY PARTY.

| | | | | | | | ANALYSIS
| Each year, the City of Miami Beach (the “City”) Parks and Recreation Department hosts a wide range of events and programs throughout Miami Beach, in order to engage and educate the community, and to provide opportunities for recreation and family enjoyment.
In December 2017, the Park and Recreation Department hosted a Seniors’ Holiday Party offering attendees an evening of food, fun, and entertainment. City staff worked diligently to identify funding sources to offset the costs of producing this event, and secured a partnership through donations from T-Mobile USA Inc.

| The City Administration recommends the City Commission authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to retroactively approve and accept the donation, in the total amount of $5,000, from T-Mobile USA Inc. for the December 2017 Seniors’ Holiday Party.
