Neighbors from the Lower North Bay Road, Sunset Harbour, and Sunset Islands III & IV communities have expressed concern over the possibility that FDOT might use the city-owned lot located at 20th Street and Sunset Drive as a staging area for the Alton Road improvement project.

I recommend this parcel not be used as a staging area for any construction, but rather be dedicated as a neighborhood pocket park as recommended by the Parks and Recreational Facilities Advisory Board and the prior City Commission as per resolution 2017-29814.
