Please place on the January 17, 2017 City Commission agenda, a referral to the Neighborhood/Community Affairs Committee to review post action on holiday lighting program.

The 2017 Holiday Season was the first of a two-part installation of new Holiday Lighting pursuant to RFP 2017-077-JC with Artistic Holiday Designs. The purpose of the referral is to provide the Neighborhoods and Community Affairs Committee with a post-implementation presentation of observations, recommendations, plans for next year, and be able to communicate the highlights of the January 10, 2018 meeting with the vendor and other resident feedback received. I want to obtain assurances that the lighting is installed according to the schedule contract going forward, and if NCAC recommends any modifications having fiscal impact, those should subsequently be referred to the Finance and City-wide Projects Committee for inclusion in 2018 budget considerations.
