Please place on the October 18, 2017 City Commission Agenda, a discussion item to discuss ways to expedite the City's administrative process in an effort to better realize the revitalization of North Beach.

Multiple residents and stakeholders have raised concerns to me with regards to the expediency of our administrative processes. Therefore, I would like to discuss whether the Commission supports a request of the City Administration to look for ways to expedite our administrative processes, including interpretations, department reviews, land-use board presentations, etc.

Seeing as the North Beach Master Plan has been adopted by the City Commission, and numerous projects are in process that align with the Master Plan and are consistent with its stated objectives, it is in the City's best interest for those projects to be realized as quickly as possible.
