ANALYSIS

Please place a referral to the September 8, 2017 Finance and Citywide Projects Committee, regarding a UM-PAC Sexual Wellness/PrEP clinic in Miami Beach.

Miami Beach is facing an epidemic of new HIV infections. The University of Miami (UM) Medical School and Prevention Access Campaign (PAC) are seeking to open a clinic to reduce new HIV infections on Miami Beach using PrEP, a daily pill that reduces the risk of HIV infection by 99%.
