Please place on the March 22, 2017 Agenda, a referral to the Sustainability and Resiliency Committee to make waterless urinals the standard in Miami Beach buildings - both in City of Miami Beach projects and all new construction.
Waterless urinals look like regular urinals without a pipe for water intake. Such urinals do not flush, instead, they drain by gravity. Their outflow pipes connect to a building's conventional plumbing system.
Waterless urinals will reduce water consumption and save money on water and sewer charges.
