|SUBJECT:||A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY ADMINISTRATION TO EXPLORE ENHANCING CURRENT POLICING EFFORTS IN KNOWN LOCATIONS OF CRIMINAL ACTIVITY AND/OR HIGH CONCENTRATIONS OF LOITERING HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS, SUCH AS COLLINS PARK, AND NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF LINCOLN ROAD AND WASHINGTON AVENUE, THROUGH THE USE OF RESERVE POLICE OFFICERS OR PRIVATE ARMED SECURITY GUARDS.|
Pursuant to the request of Commissioner Kristen Rosen Gonzalez, the above-referenced Resolution is submitted for consideration by the Mayor and City Commission at the July 26, 2023 Commission meeting.
