I am proposing to amend the City’s Resiliency Code to allow for appropriately-located single story additions on RM-3 zoned sites exceeding 115,000 square feet in size within the architectural district between Lincoln Road and 18 Street. A draft of the proposed ordinance is attached.
Please place an item on the February 22, 2023 City Commission Agenda to refer the necessary legislation to the Land Use and Sustainability Committee and Planning Board for their review and recommendation.
I also understand the Historic Preservation Board wants to review this proposal regarding a height increase in a historic district.
