| On every City Commission agenda, the City is approving grants and waivers for private entities for event or other important causes within the City. Please place a discussion item on the February 1, 2023 agenda to consider appropriating a modest $10,000 budget for each of the following committees to conduct community events and outreach (as well as any other committees as may be determined by the City Commission):
Black Affairs Advisory Committee
Quality Education Committee
LGBQIA+ Committee
Hispanic Affairs Committee
Commission for Women
Human Rights Committee
Disability Access Committee
I would also like for the City Commission to also identify this as a line item in future budgets.
