SUBJECT:DISCUSS AND POSSIBLY TAKE ACTION ON THE PROPOSED MIXED-USE PROJECT AT 1262 COLLINS AVENUE.

ANALYSIS

At the November 14, 2022 Finance and Economic Resiliency Committee, we moved the discussion of an unsolicited proposal for 1262 Collins Avenue (a City-owned surface parking lot) to the following City Commission meeting agenda. I am placing this item on the February 1st, 2023 City Commission agenda because the item was not included in the original agenda publication. I ask that the City administration be prepared to present the proposal, which consists of a plan to develop a mixed-use building with ground-floor retail, Class A office, and a parking garage, for possible Commission action.
