SUBJECT:	REFERRAL TO THE PUBLIC SAFETY NEIGHBORHOOD AND QUALITY OF LIFE COMMITTEE TO DISCUSS THE NOISE IN SOUTH POINTE PARK ON SUNDAYS AND THE NEW PILOT PROGRAM FOR MUSIC IN THAT AREA.

BACKGROUND/HISTORY

We would like an update on how many noise complaints we have received in the South of Fifth Neighborhood during the South Pointe Park Sunday music gathering. Many residents are complaining, and maybe the solution is to not allow the amplifier when musicians gather in the park?

They should be able to gather, play music, but not use an amplifier.
