REFERRAL TO THE PUBLIC SAFETY NEIGHBORHOOD AND QUALITY OF LIFE COMMITTEE TO DISCUSS PROTECTING AND/OR MOVING THE HISTORIC NOBE TOWER TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION IN NORTH BEACH.

We received this email from a resident: 

"There is a mid-century tower located on 71st.  We the residents of NOBE would like that tower to be relocated elsewhere in NOBE.  It's one of he last remaining symbols of a neighborhood that is being transformed before our eyes.

Perhaps it could be used as an entryway sculpture  to a sculpture garden on the front lawn of Altos del Mar Park where local artists work could be displayed.  

Or put on top on the locked domino pavilion in the park next to the senior center.

It could be incorporated into the Byron Carlyle project.

There are many places it could be put in NOBE that would bring a smile to the faces of  residents our residents.
