| | SUBJECT: | REFERRAL TO THE PUBLIC SAFETY AND NEIGHBORHOOD QUALITY OF LIFE COMMITTEE TO DISCUSS PROVIDING PROPERTY OWNERS WITH NOTICE OF BUILDING PERMITS, CODE VIOLATIONS, UPCOMING INSPECTIONS, AND PAYMENTS DUE WITH REGARD TO THEIR PROPERTIES. |

| Please place on the April 6, 2022 agenda a referral to the Public Safety and Quality of Life Committee to discuss ways to ensure that, in addition to contractors and agents, property owners are furnished with information concerning the denial of building permits, code violations, upcoming inspections, and payments due with regard to their properties.
As part of the referral, I would request that the City Administration be prepared to address at the committee meeting to whom notices of violations and approvals/denials of building permits are presently being provided, and viable options as to how property owners may also be timely furnished with such information. |
