SUBJECT:

A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, WAIVING SPECIAL EVENT FEES, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $5,666, FOR THE ARTSCAPE CONCERT SERIES, ORGANIZED BY GLOBAL ARTS PROJECT INC., AND COLLINS PARK NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION, TO BE HELD IN COLLINS PARK ON OR ABOUT FEBRUARY 28, 2021, MARCH 28, 2021, APRIL 25, 2021, SEPTEMBER 26, 2021, AND OCTOBER 31, 2021.


RECOMMENDATION

The City Administration recommends the waiver of special event fees for the five (5) Artscape Concert Series in an amount not to exceed $5,666; which includes, for each event, $333.84 in square footage fees; $23.36 sales tax; $260 in Police administrative fees; $258 special event application fee; and $258 special event permit fee.
