SUBJECT:	A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH FLORIDA, ADDING THE MIAMI-DADE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS 2019 STATE LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES TO THE CITY’S 2019 STATE AGENDA.

RECOMMENDATION

Adopt the Resolution.

ANALYSIS

Miami-Dade County Public Schools is the fourth-largest school district in the United States and serves the Miami Beach area. As such, the Administration requests approval to add the Miami-Dade County Public Schools 2019 State Legislative Program to the City’s State Priorities.

The Miami-Dade County Public Schools 2019 State Legislative Program is attached.

CONCLUSION

The Administration recommends that the Mayor and City Commission adopt the Resolution adding the Miami-Dade County Public Schools 2019 State Legislative Priorities to the City’s 2019 State Agenda.
