| | | | | | | | ANALYSIS
| Please place on the February 13th Commission Agenda, a discussion about advocating and creating a roundtable for the regional protection of Biscayne Bay including the Greater Miami and the Beaches 100 Resilient Cities partnership to collaborate and elevate the attention on the conservation of this regional asset. Biscayne Bay is a regional resource and Miami Beach has the opportunity to continue to lead by example in its protection. It is becoming too frequent that we learn of contamination of waters and closure of beaches. The roundtable should focus on a discussion on opportunities that exist for Miami Beach to spearhead coordinated regional action in collaboration with Miami-Dade County and other coastal communities. Please feel free to contact Diana Fontani should you need any additional information. |
