| | Please place on the February 13 Commission agenda, a referral to the Finance and Citywide Projects Committee to discuss waiving City fees for the South Beach Seafood Festival. This is the premier seafood festival in Miami Beach, which is a high-end experience that showcases the talents of South Florida’s leading chefs and culinary masterminds via a diverse group of events. The seafood festival benefits a great cause with CI Foundation’s EAT SMART program, a program that provides healthy meals and nutritional guidance to Florida’s youth. I believe this event to be important to Miami Beach and would like to consider their request for waiver of fees customary with other festivals.
