| | SUBJECT: | REFERRAL TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD/COMMUNITY AFFAIRS COMMITTEE - DISCUSS THE JANUARY 22, 2019 COMMITTEE FOR QUALITY EDUCATION IN MIAMI BEACH'S MOTION REGARDING ASSISTANCE FROM THE MAYOR, COMMISSIONERS, AND CITY MANAGER TO URGE FDOT TO INSTALL A WELL IDENTIFIED PEDESTRIAN CROSSING ACROSS 41ST STREET AT NORTH JEFFERSON AVENUE (STARBUCKS AND BURGER KING), ESPECIALLY FOLLOWING A STUDENT WHO WAS HIT AND BADLY INJURED WHILE CROSSING.

| | Please place on the February 13 Commission Meeting, a referral to the Neighborhood/Community Affairs Committee to discuss the January 22 Miami Beach Committee for Quality Education's Motion regarding assistance from the Mayor, Commissioners, and City Manager to urge FDOT to install a well identified pedestrian crossing across 41st Street at N. Jefferson Avenue (Starbucks and Burger King), especially following a student who was hit and badly injured while crossing. Please find attached the LTC with additional information.
