Please add to the January 16, 2019 Commission Meeting Agenda, a referral to the Land Use and Development Committee of a discussion item relating to certain retail uses and a possible distance separation of those retail uses from public and private schools.

Public and private schools are located throughout the City of Miami Beach.  The City currently provides certain distance requirements between alcoholic beverage establishments, medical cannabis treatment centers, and schools.  I would like to explore a distance separation between public and private schools and certain smoking and tobacco related retail establishments.
