Please place on the January 16, 2019 City Commission agenda a referral to the Neighborhood/Community Affairs Committee (NCAC) to gauge Commission interest in exploring a change in the minimum duration for a private property rental in certain areas where it is currently restricted to six months and one day.

I have received feedback from property owners that they would like to see this time reduced to perhaps two-three months as a "seasonal rental".  The Committee should discuss whether this could be successful in the City of Miami Beach and make a recommendation.
