| | On November 14th, 2018 the Youth Commission passed a motion urging the Mayor and Commission to consider having the City of Miami Beach facilitate informational sessions with the aim to educate students on the proper relationship and procedures with regards to an armed school resource officer on public high school campuses. The Commission should discuss this motion and the opportunity for the City Administration to discuss this idea with the appropriate personnel at Miami-Dade County Public Schools (eg. school principal) for public high schools, and perhaps middle school. |
