RideOn is an international company that provides docked electric assisted bicycle sharing services. Last year, the Miami-Dade Department of Transportation and Public Works determined there is a market for bicycle rentals at Metrorail Stations, so it procured RideOn to provide that service. I ask that the Finance and Citywide Projects Committee & the Neighborhoods and Community Affairs Committee explore the establishment of a pilot program to determine if a docked electric assisted bicycle sharing service is an efficient mobility option that improves convenience for existing transit customers and attracts new customers to public transit.
