| At the September 13, 2023, Commission Meeting, Mayor Meiner (then Commissioner Meiner) requested, and the City Commission approved, the referral of an item (C4 L) to the Public Safety and Neighborhood Quality of Life Committee to discuss the creation of a centralized web portal for improving the City's permitting process. |

| | | | | | | | ANALYSIS
| The Information Technology Department implemented a centralized permitting webpage on August 29, 2023 in coordination with all City departments involved in the permitting process. The webpage, which can be located on the City's website at www.miamibeachfl.gov/permits, provides streamlined access to permitting, planning, and resiliency resources. Since the implementation, the page has an average of 24,000 views per month.
