| Please place on the March 13, 2024 agenda a referral to the Finance and Economic Resiliency Committee to discuss taking action/allocating funding for new or additional lobbyist(s) to advocate for the City for the 2025 legislative session.
At the moment, the City contracts with a lobbyist that has not always effectively advocated the City's key priorities in Tallahassee. That contract is terminable at anytime by the City without significant cost. I would like to discuss exploring the City's options for contracting with new and/or additional lobbyists who may more successfully and zealously communicate to legislators the well thought out priorities of this Mayor and City Commission. |
