| SUBJECT: | A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, URGING THE FLORIDA LEGISLATURE TO ADOPT SENATE BILL 30, WHICH SEEKS TO REQUIRE ALL FLORIDA BOATERS TO CARRY PROOF OF BOATER-SAFETY TRAINING AND PRESCRIBES PENALTIES FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO BOAT UNDER THE INFLUENCE; AND FURTHER, DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO TRANSMIT A COPY OF THIS RESOLUTION TO THE SPEAKER OF THE FLORIDA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, AND THE PRESIDENT OF THE FLORIDA SENATE. |
