| | SUBJECT: | DISCUSS PRESSURE WASHING IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THE CLEANLINESS AND AESTHETICS OF CITY PROPERTY. |
|
| | | | | | | | HISTORY:
| At its June 28, 2023 meeting, the City Commission approved a referral to the Public Safety and Neighborhood Quality of Life Committee to discuss the City's utilization of pressure washing to keep the City's property and rights-of-way clean. There is concern by the sponsoring Commissioner that unclean streets, sidewalks, and other City property can have a deleterious effect on the resident's quality of life, in addition to presenting an outwardly negative impression of the City.
As part of the referral, the Administration was asked to provide the City's current pressure washing schedule, frequency, and location, and to provide recommendations as to how cleanliness in the City may be improved via pressure washing or other identifiable means. |
