| | It is recommended that the Mayor and City Commission ratify the item(s) approved by the City Manager during the recess period between the last Commission meeting on July 26, 2023, and the first regularly scheduled Commission meeting on September 13, 2023, pursuant to Resolution 2023-32672, as listed in Attachment B. |

| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND/HISTORY
| In order to ensure that essential services continue and operational needs are met during the period in which the City Commission is in recess between the last Commission meeting on July 26, 2023, until the first regularly scheduled Commission meeting on September 13, 2023, the Mayor and City Commission, on July 26, 2023, adopted Resolution 2023-32672. The Resolution is included as Attachment A. The Resolution authorizes the City Manager to sign all contracts and grant applications, and renew or terminate any existing contract during the period in which the City Commission is in recess. |
