Please place on the July 26, 2023, City Commission agenda a referral to a September 13, 2023 meeting of the Committee of the Whole to discuss the annual performance evaluation for City Manager Alina T. Hudak; City Attorney Rafael A. Paz; City Clerk Rafael E. Granado; and Inspector General Joseph M. Centorino.

As required in the City Manager’s contract, the City Manager shall be evaluated by the City Commission within forty-five days before or following her anniversary date. That date for her annual review was April 21, 2023, and any review would be retroactive. In compliance with her contract, Ms. Hudak is submitting the attached memorandum for the purpose of reviewing her performance.

City Clerk Rafael E. Granado is submitting the attached Accomplishments of the Office of the City Clerk for Fiscal Year 23 for the purpose of reviewing his performance. The date for Mr. Granado’s review is May 1, 2023, and any review would be retroactive.

City Attorney Rafael A. Paz will submit his Annual Report as part of the Committee of the Whole packet. The date for Mr. Paz’s review is October 13, 2023.

Inspector General Joseph M. Centorino's Annual Report is due to be submitted in December.  A summary of OIG activities during the past year will be provided prior to the September 13 Committee of the Whole Meeting. The date for Mr. Centorino's review is November 1, 2023.
