Since the Deauville “implosion” on Sunday, November 13, there has been a traffic jam on Collins Ave. as trucks remove debris. The debris removal is supposed to take 2-3 months, according to our city administration.
How can we formulate a plan that will not disrupt traffic?
This implosion was forced on residents due to “demolition by neglect”, and now it is an added “slap in the face” that residents are stuck in their cars waiting for trucks to remove this debris.
We need a solution.
