SUBJECT:REFERRAL TO THE FINANCE AND ECONOMIC RESILIENCY COMMITTEE - (1) FINAL REPORT ON THE 2022 OCEAN DRIVE PROMENADE MUSIC SERIES; AND (2) FUNDING REQUEST FOR FY 2022/23. 

BACKGROUND/HISTORY

On May 4, 2022 the City Commission adopted Resolution 2022-32154 authorizing a sponsorship agreement with the Ocean Drive Association for the Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series in an amount not to exceed $100,450 for the 2022 Spring/Summer season covering the partial year of February through September. At this time, the ODA is requesting funding for FY 2022/23 at an amount of $150,000 to cover the entire year. ODA is committed to secure donations and in-kind contributions to match.

 

As part of this referral, I would like for the ODA to provide a presentation at Committee recapping the 2022 Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series. Attached, please find a final report provided by the ODA.
