SUBJECT:DISCUSSION TO CONSIDER THE CITY ESTABLISHING A MAXIMUM FEE FOR WASTE HAULER SERVICES FOR MULTI-FAMILY DWELLINGS OF LESS THAN 25 UNITS.

HISTORY:

At its May 4, 2022 meeting, the City Commission approved a referral by Commissioner Alex Fernandez to discuss and to consider the City establishing a maximum fee for waste hauler services for multi-family dwellings of less than 25 units (referral attached). 

 

A request was made to have this item heard in conjunction with a Public Works presentation, related to the City's solid waste commercial franchise hauler.  A verbal report will follow.

CONCLUSION:

Public Works will be discussing the referral to the Finance and Economic Resiliency Committee for the City to consider establishing a maximum fee for waste hauler services for multi-family dwellings of less than 25 units, following the City's solid waste commercial franchise hauler presentation.
