| SUBJECT: | A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY ADMINISTRATION TO FURTHER ENHANCE THE CITY’S CURRENT STRATEGIES RELATING TO CLEANLINESS AND PUBLIC SANITATION NEEDS IN NORTH BEACH, INCLUDING INCREASING THE PRESENCE OF SANITATION PERSONNEL IN NORTH BEACH WHERE FEASIBLE, AND PRIORITIZING INCREASED LEVELS OF SERVICE AND FUNDING FOR NORTH BEACH AS PART OF THE FY2023 BUDGET PROCESS, IN AN EFFORT TO IMPROVE THE APPEARANCE OF PUBLIC AREAS THROUGHOUT NORTH BEACH. |

The Resolution provides for fiscal impacts to be addressed as part of the FY23 budget process. The Administration has identified that the fiscal impact of an additional sanitation crew (or increasing existing crews from 5 days a week to 7 days a week) ranges from $250,000 to $350,000. |
