SUBJECT:A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATION AND THE CITY CLERK TO MAKE ALL NECESSARY ARRANGEMENTS TO HOLD TWO (2) CITY COMMISSION MEETINGS ANNUALLY IN NORTH BEACH, WITH THE APPROPRIATE VENUE AND DATES TO BE DECIDED THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION.

Pursuant to the request of Commissioner Alex Fernandez, the above-referenced Resolution is submitted for consideration by the Mayor and City Commission at the February 9, 2022 Commission meeting.

FINANCIAL INFORMATION

The proposed measure would have a fiscal impact on the expenditures of the City, consisting of the costs for logistical and audio visual arrangements required for City Commission meetings, including appropriate arrangements for broadcasting the meetings on MBTV and other online live formats. The Administration will be prepared to address these logistical issues and costs more fully at the February 9, 2022 City Commission meeting.
