SUBJECT:	REFERRAL TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND QUALITY OF LIFE COMMITTEE TO DISCUSS STUDENT SAFETY DURING DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP AT MIAMI BEACH SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL.

ANALYSIS

Pursuant to the motion made at the October 26, 2021, meeting of the Committee for Quality Education Committee, this item aims to discuss student safety at Miami Beach Senior High School during pick-up and drop-off periods (see LTC 463-2021). It would be beneficial to the conversation to have the City Administration devise an operational plan and a timeline to improve the flow of traffic and pedestrian safety during the said periods.
