SUBJECT:	REFERRAL TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND QUALITY OF LIFE COMMITTEE TO EXPLORE OPTIONS TO REPURPOSE AND/OR BEAUTIFY HENRY LIEBMAN SQUARE.

ANALYSIS

Henry Liebman Square is located on Pine Tree Drive and 41st Street. This currently inactivated public space has the potential to improve the Miami Beach brand due to its visibility along a primary artery into Miami Beach. This item aims to discuss various options to activate and/or beautify the space.

This item was initiated and supported by the Mayor’s 41st Street Blue Ribbon Committee by passing a motion on June 24, 2021.
