| | Please place on the July 28th Commission agenda a discussion/take action item on a Cultural Arts motion made at their April meeting. The motion is to increase the Community Benefit Fund Waiver at the North Beach Bandshell by an additional twelve (12) waivers for calendar year 2021. The additional twelve (12) waivers will be used to cover facility rental costs only and will not be used to cover associated technical fees. This increase in funding would assist such organizations as the Brazilian Film Festival, Miami Beach Salsa Festival, Dance Now Ensemble and Guitars Over Guns. The Rhythm Foundation reached out to my office and is in support of this increase as well which will allow more arts and culture events to take place at this outdoor facility.
