| | Please place on the June 23 Commission agenda meeting a referral to the Finance Economic Resiliency Committee a discussion regarding funding for the South Beach Jazz Festival. The South Beach Jazz Festival is an annual five (5) day public event celebrating and building awareness of the disabled community’s talents through music. In previous years, the event has attracted as many as 1,700 attendees. Power Access has produced the South Beach Jazz Festival successfully for three (3) years, generating a significant opportunities for disabled individuals, while educating the community on the importance of fostering access to people with disabilities. The City of Miami Beach has been a supporter in previous years of this event and should do so again. Please feel free to contact Diana Fontani Martinez if you need any additional information. |
