SUBJECT:	REFERRAL TO THE FINANCE AND ECONOMIC RESILIENCY COMMITTEE TO DISCUSS THE COMMITTEE FOR QUALITY EDUCATION'S MOTION ASKING THAT THE CITY PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SUPPORT FOR SCHOOL PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF AREAS.

ANALYSIS

During their May 25 committee meeting (see attached), the Committee for Quality Education unanimously passed the following motion:

The Committee for Quality Education requests the Mayor and City Commission provide support with Miami Beach traffic around all six Miami Beach public schools at drop-off and pick-up times for the first few weeks of the 2021-22 school year.
