| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND/HISTORY
| Parking Lot P1 is located at 1st Street and Washington Avenue, in South Pointe Park. The parking lot is open to the public and functions as the primary lot for surrounding restaurant, Smith & Wollensky as well as the Park. Recently, the Miami Beach Police Department has reported criminal element in the area. In order to mitigate congregation and disruption in the area, the Administration is proposing the installation of a motorized gate at South Pointe Park. |

| The Property Management Department has sought proposals to install a motorized gate to secure the area at an approximate cost of $60,000, which can be completed within sixty (60) days. This item is not currently funded for fiscal year 2020-2021. The Administration proposes funding from general fund contingency |
