SUBJECT:	REFERRAL TO THE BLACK AFFAIRS ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR A RECOMMENDATION ON A MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. COMMEMORATIVE MARKER OR OTHER DESIGNATION.

ANALYSIS

Please place on the agenda a referral to the Black Affairs Advisory Committee for recommendations on options for a commemorative marker or designation honoring the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. Specifically, the Committee must consider the following:

- Location of the marker or designation within the City limits

- The type of marker or designation (i.e. plaque, art piece, statue etc)
