At the January 16, 2020 City Commission Meeting, a discussion regarding accepting a donation and installation of a park bench was referred to the Neighborhood and Quality of Life Committee (the “NQLC”) (Exhibit A).

The Miami Buena Vista-Biltmore Lions Club would like to donate a bench (Exhibit B) to the City of Miami Beach to be placed within a park. Their preferred location for the installation of the bench is Altos Del Mar Park or Beach View Park.

The Parks and Recreation Department recommends placing the bench along the beachwalk, where it will be highly utilized.  The bench is aesthetically variant from existing seating amenities at both park locations.

The estimated cost for installation may range from $500 to $1,000, depending on location.
