| SUBJECT: | DISCUSSION REGARDING THE HUMAN RIGHTS COMMITTEE OCTOBER 5 MOTION OF RECOMMENDING TO THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION THAT THE RECURRING EXPENDITURE ENHANCEMENT OF $21,000 FOR "DOMESTIC VIOLENCE EMERGENCY SHELTER," REFINED DURING THE SEPTEMBER 15, 2019 COMMISSION MEETING, BE BROADENED TO INCLUDE ANY DIRECT SERVICES, NOT JUST SHELTER OR HOUSING, FOR ANY VICTIM OF A CRIME. |

| Please place on the October 14 Commission meeting, a discussion regarding the Human Rights Committee October 5 motion recommending to the Mayor and City Commission that the recurring expenditure enhancement of $21,000 for "Domestic Violence Emergency Shelter,'' refined during the September 15, 2019 Commission meeting, be broadened to Include any direct services, not just shelter or housing, for any victim of a crime.
