| | SUBJECT: | A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, SUPPORTING HOUSE BILL H.R. 3872 AND ITS RELATED BILL, SENATE BILL S. 2187 AND URGING THE U.S. CONGRESS TO REAUTHORIZE THE NATIONAL FLOOD INSURANCE PROGRAM; AND FURTHER URGING CONGRESS TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL RESOURCES TO FEMA TO UTILIZE THE BEST TECHNOLOGY AND METHODS AVAILABLE TO IMPROVE THE FLOOD MAPPING PROCESS. |
