| The administration recommends that the City Commission refer the item to the Land Use and Sustainability Committee and the Planning Board for consideration and recommendation. |

| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND/HISTORY
| On June 30, 2020 the Land Use and Sustainability Committee discussed a proposal to establish a Neighborhood Identity Overlay District. The legislation pertaining to this overlay is pending before the City Commission. |

| | | | | | | | ANALYSIS
| As part of the June 30, 2020 LUSC discussion regarding the Formula Commercial Overlay for Sunset Harbor, staff recommended further study and analysis of size, lot aggregation and parking requirements within the neighborhood, to ensure greater compatibility between the businesses along the outer corridors and the interior of the neighborhood.
The referral herein is intended to facilitate this discussion, as well as any required code amendments to effecute the recommendations.
