The Venetian Islands CIP project has been 8 years and counting. It has been tough on both the residents and City staff. As such, the Venetian Islands Homeowners Association has offered to work closely with City staff in order to provide their input and keep the project moving into the next phase.  At this time, our understanding is that the project is on hold.

Back in January 2020, the City Administration considered various alternatives for the project for discussion with the Commission, but the item was removed from the agenda and not presented.

Currently the City and Commission has begun a process of  project prioritization based on Jacobs Engineering's recommendations.

Given this background, this item asks the City Administration to provide a status update and the next steps planned for this CIP project.
