SUBJECT:	REFERRAL TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND QUALITY OF LIFE COMMITTEE TO DISCUSS THE PLACEMENT OF A LEFT TURN SIGNAL WHEN TRAVELING SOUTHBOUND ON WEST AVENUE ONTO DADE BOULEVARD.

ANALYSIS

This is a concern that has been raised by several residents. Reduced visibility occurs due to the West Avenue bridge crossing over the Collins Canal. Therefore, it is challenging to observe northbound traffic on West Avenue when preparing to make a left turn. The Transportation Department confirmed there is no left turn signal at this intersection.
