In May, the Miami Beach Youth Commission unanimously passed a motion to reschedule and fund the mock SAT/ACT tests prior to the end of the calendar year (see LTC 194-2020, attached hereto). Mock examinations provide students a baseline to guide further preparation for the actual exam. The test scores are confidential and not provided to academic institutions. The examination was previously canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
