SUBJECT:	DISCUSSION AND, IF NECESSARY, TAKE ACTION ON WAIVING SIDEWALK CAFE PERMIT FEES CITYWIDE.

ANALYSIS

The current permitting structure on outdoor seating limits businesses from successfully contributing to the walkability, safety, and attraction of 41st Street businesses. Waiving the fee will incentivize businesses to expand their services. Business owners and residents alike have requested the fee to be waivered.
