| Bike theft in and around Miami Beach is a cause for concern. Despite current outreach and educational efforts on behalf of the Police and Communications Department, issues continue to exist with ensuring the public registers their bikes and reports thefts. Attached to this item is a set of recommendations via email from David Arthur Walters and a response from Elias Gonzalez on my behalf that both committees should consider in terms of effectiveness, applicability, and ease of implementation. |
